THE CAMEROONIAN ARTIST DOLLY PEARL HAS CHANGE HIS NAME TO
IBALI AND IS ANNOUNCING HIS FIRST RELEASE TITLED LEGENDARY

Dolly Pearl started his professional music journey in 2017 and since then, released five tracks with the latest being Pay Taxi ft Magasco. In 2017, his band called the WuliBali Band was formed.

Alongside the band, he organized two WuliBali Concerts in Bamenda in 2017 and 2018 bringing together 2000 and 3500 people respectively who turned out to enjoy Dolly Pearl’s live performances.

In 2018, Dolly Pearl performed at Felaberations in Nigeria, Access Music Africa in Kenya and a host of other music concerts and shows around Africa.

Though as successful as Dolly Pearl’s carrier was, he was in a constant search for his true identity and music. Hence, with his experiences as an African Youth, a musician and a strong lover of the people, Dolly Pearl found his identity in Spiritual Music and has taken music as a weapon.

“I Look at Music as a weapon for change. My Music is a pathway to share the message of hope, a means to decolonize my people and to free them from mental slavery and Political spiritualism and from today I shall be known as IBALI”.

Ibali announces his first official single titled “Legendary” dedicated to all African leaders who fought for the continent’s freedom with a message around decolonization of Africa, freedom from Political Spirituality and above all Mental Slavery.

The song is produced by CFX and visuals directed by Yonka Films.
