Mae Pictures’ brand new project “Night in the grass field” produced by Kamer actress Adela Elad is a movie to be on the lookout for. Set in the Northwest region of Cameroon, this movie revolves around lead actress Manka who, amidst other women is inflicted with revolting practices stirred up by men.
These women have no control over what happens to their body, money, voice and sometimes go the extra mile for their husbands. Manka however stands her grounds and joins forces with the women leader of her community to say no to this oppression. Will they succeed in their quest? How perilous will their battle be? That’s left for us to find out.
It stars some of Cameron’s finest like Adela Elad, Ade Kelly, Pascal Moma Gami, Forbah Jude, Oben Edward, Ngongang Elisabeth, Agem wayoa lizzy, Otia Vitalis, Kelly Ndanjo and directed by Tanwie Elvis (De Daddies) with Pascal Moma as associate producer.
The brain behind this project is screen goddess Adela Elad who has several cords on her ark in the cinema sector. She acted the lead role in the movie University Girls and equally acted in the French series Circle Vicieux by Ebenezer Kepombia (Commonly known as Mitoumba) which is aired on Canal Plus Afrique. She is currently Inspector Patience in the famous Tv series Bad Angel aired on Crtv. More so, Adela won best uprising actress at the African dream achievers award.
