Sunday the 26 of May was a busy day for lovers of Cameroonian comedy who headed to the Red Cross Hall in Yaounde for Laughter Heals Comedy Show.

The organizers did a good job ensuring everything went on smoothly.

Here’s a rundown of the 2019 edition of the Laughter Heals comedy show.

The event featured known and upcoming Cameroonian comedians who dazzled the crowd with their talents by filling the hall with euphoria and laughter.

Even though the event started a little bit late than the scheduled time – 5pm; every artist was given an opportunity to perform and entertain the audience.

There were some minor glitches during the night, such as some performances being interrupted by the MC Steve Fonkam and the DJ.

This however didn’t dilute the amazing job Steve Fonkam did through out the night and the professionalism of the DJ as well.

One by one comedians mounted the stage; Badly Brought Up, Mp3, Spako, Oboy Da Comic, Big Mami Agata, Moustik Le Karismatik, Marcus senior pastor and several other comedians making the night a success.

An extra touch to the night were gospel performances from artists like Guy Michelle and Prosper Menko.

Guests however noticed the absence of renowned Nigerian comedians Charles Inojie and Gordons, who were advertised as headliners of the show.

The organizers had to apologize to the crowd for not fulfilling the end of their bargain by not bringing both Nigerian comedians to Cameroon for the show.

Was this all a ploy to attract more people to the show? Or did they genuinely intend to bring both Nigerian Comedians to Cameroon?

Putting that aside, the show continued with one last musical performance from gospel artist Prosper Gospel.

A success it was.
